A woman of stone? Well, hardly! Carole’s beauty may be the kind that sculptors dream about, but beyond those classical lines there’s a heart working overtime — because its owner is one bathing girl who rose to stardom, instead of vanishing (see page 30).

She’ll be anything but marble in “Sinners in the Sun,” her second starring picture, in which Chester Morris is The One Man.
