Winifred Kingston (1916) 🇺🇸
As leading woman for Dustin Farnum, Winifred Kingston has appeared with marked success. Of English birth, Miss Kingston was educated in Edinburgh, Scotland, and Paliseul, Belgium. At an early age she appeared on the stage in England, and later played leading parts for Charles Frohman and Sir Beerbohm Tree. In America Miss Kingston played in The Servant in the House, Thaïs, Seven Sisters, Pomander Walk, The Elixir of Youth and other productions of prominence.
Winifred Kingston upon completion of her initial photoplay cast her lot with the silent, drama. Presenting chief support to Dustin Farnum in The Call of the Cumberlands, The Gentleman from Indiana, Ben Blair, Davy Crockett, Captain Courtesy and The Virginian. Miss Kingston has endeared herself to thousands of screen patrons.
Tennis, horseback-riding, good books and last, but by no means least, her garden are Winifred Kingston’s hobbies. These are all shared by her mother, who is her constant companion. As a horticulturist, Miss Kingston has gained no little fame, and her rose bushes, lawns and shrubberies are the source of pride to both her mother and herself. When one considers she has scarcely passed twenty, the future of this talented girl can be appreciated.
