Paul Scardon was born in Melbourne, Australia, in 1878 and received his education there.
Previous to his affiliations with the silent drama Mr. Scardon appeared successfully in Australia in the legitimate drama. During his career on the stage Paul Scardon has appeared with Nance O’Neil, Kyrle Bellew, E. H. Sothern and Mrs. Fiske.
Mr. Scardon has been affiliated with the Reliance-Majestic and Vitagraph Companies and recently directed Goldwyn’s big success “Pardners of the Night” as well as “Milestones” for the same company. He directed Blanche Sweet in an “Unwilling Husband.” Likewise he has directed Bessie Barriscale in some of her most successful productions.
Paul Scardon is famous as a breeder of prize-winning bulldogs as well as for his contributions to the screen.
