Fred J. Balshofer.

Started in the motion picture business with Lubin Motion Picture Company in the year 1900, in the capacity of camera man and factory expert.

Mr. Balshofer was the original organizer, in 1908, of the Bison films of the New York Motion Picture Company, for which company he was general manager, producer and vice-president.

Since the first of the present year he has organized the Sterling Motion Picture Company, of which he is president and general manager.
