Albert Capellani (Director-General)
Capellani, Albert, director-general, Clara Kimball Young Corp.; b. Paris, about 1874; screen career, one of the pioneers in the motion picture art in Paris, starting as asst. cameraman, then chief cameraman, and for the past 13 yrs. a director; 5 yrs. director in Pathé Paris Studios, then 7 yrs. directing features abroad; in this country directed for World (The Face in the Moonlight, The Flash of an Emerald, The Impostor, Camille, etc.), at present director for the Clara Kimball Young Co. (The Common Law, etc.). Member Screen Club, N. Y. C. Ad., 729 Seventh ave, N. Y. C.
